Sindh Government has officially announced a major initiative aimed at resolving long-pending promotion cases of school teachers and employees under the School Education Department. According to a recent notification, all regional education offices have been instructed to prepare and submit the seniority lists of eligible teaching and non-teaching staff by October 15, 2025. Once compiled, these lists will be forwarded to divisional directors, who will review and finalize them before sending them to the department for approval. This decision comes after years of delays that left thousands of teachers waiting for career advancement despite meeting eligibility criteria. The move signifies the government’s renewed commitment to ensuring fair, transparent, and timely promotions for educational staff across Sindh.
