Sindh’s Senior Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon, has officially announced the launch of the Pink Scooter Distribution Date in Karachi. Women in Karachi will receive these scooters free of cost to enhance their daily travel safety and independence. The minister shared this news during his inspection of the Yellow Line BRT project, highlighting the ongoing efforts to improve public transport in the city. Alongside the Pink Scooter Scheme, various projects are in the pipeline to modernize Karachi’s transport system, including the introduction of double-decker buses, deployment of electric buses, and potential bus manufacturing collaboration with China.
